Robert Gilman's release from Russia involved no prisoner exchange or other U.S. concession.

The State Department told the Associated Press that Gilman's humanitarian release was not part of an exchange and that no other concessions were provided. AP also confirmed that Gilman left Russia aboard a State Department aircraft for medical treatment in the United States. This assessment covers the exchange-and-concession claim, not every undisclosed detail of the negotiations.

The Secret Service and military moved Trump off Air Force One after the Turkey summit because of a credible threat.

Associated Press reporting says Trump's newly public account confirmed an earlier Washington Post report that security officials moved him to another aircraft because of a credible Iranian threat. The documented decoy operation and his transfer to a smaller government plane support the core claim; many operational details remain undisclosed.

The executive order called for separating the MMR vaccine into individual shots, spacing childhood vaccinations across separate visits and developing a plan to make separate measles, mumps and rubella vaccines available.

The signed-event transcript records Trump's description, and Associated Press reporting confirms those provisions. Separate single-disease MMR vaccines are not currently available in the United States, so this rating covers what the order calls for, not whether the policy is medically beneficial or has already been implemented.

Will Scharf will become White House counsel on September 1, replacing David Warrington, after serving as White House staff secretary and representing Trump in Supreme Court litigation.

Associated Press reporting confirms the appointment, effective date, succession, Scharf's staff-secretary role and his prior representation of Trump in cases that reached the Supreme Court. The assessment covers the announced appointment and documented roles, not Trump's opinions about either lawyer.

Hillary Clinton argued that Trump's Gaza plan was the best available option despite her opposition to him.

Clinton's Financial Times essay said no alternative framework was waiting and that even she could accept Trump's plan as the best option in a terrible situation. The repost compresses her qualified argument but accurately represents the central position and quotation.

Initial jobless claims remained below 200,000 for a third consecutive week, the first such streak since 1969.

Labor Department weekly data reported 199,000 seasonally adjusted initial claims after 198,000 and 189,000 in the two preceding weeks. That is three consecutive readings below 200,000, a run not recorded since 1969. The figures concern new unemployment-insurance claims and do not by themselves measure all unemployment or the pace of hiring.

A hacker obtained about 633,000 Maricopa County voter-registration files in 2020, and prosecutors declined to bring charges.

Declassified FBI records and independent reporting support the file count and say federal, state and local prosecutors declined charges. The stolen material was largely public voter-registration data, not ballots or vote totals, and the breach does not show that the election result was altered.

Republican national party committees had a large cash advantage while the DNC's debt exceeded its cash.

Federal filings reported roughly $128 million in Republican National Committee cash with no debt, compared with about $16.3 million in Democratic National Committee cash and more than $18 million in debt. This supports the national-party comparison Trump posted, but does not describe every candidate or allied group.

The administration announced roughly $180 million for mining schools and workforce training.

The White House fact sheet itemizes $100 million from the Energy Department and more than $80 million from the Department of War for mining schools and workforce programs; Associated Press independently reported a rounded $180 million total.

The announced project package included a $1.4 billion Sila loan, $150 million for Niron Magnetics and $400 million for an Australian scandium project.

The new White House fact sheet itemizes all three commitments, and Associated Press independently reported the same amounts. They are loans or investments, not completed private construction spending.

A planned Oklahoma project would be the first new U.S. primary aluminum smelter since 1980.

The Energy Department describes the Inola, Oklahoma, project as the first new U.S. primary aluminum smelter since 1980. Construction was expected to begin later in 2026, so this supports the announcement rather than a claim that the plant was already operating.

Chinese mining-engineering programs graduate about 3,000 students a year.

Congressional and mining-education records use an estimate of approximately 3,000 annual graduates from about 45 Chinese programs. The comparison does not validate Trump's separate U.S. graduation and retirement figures.

Team USA won a record 12 gold medals at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

Team USA's official Milano Cortina record shows 12 gold medals, surpassing the previous U.S. Winter Olympic high of 10 set at Salt Lake City in 2002.

U.S. Paralympians won 13 gold medals at Milano Cortina 2026.

The International Paralympic Committee records 24 U.S. medals, including 13 golds, placing Team USA second on the medal table.

The Thacker Pass project is one of the largest lithium-mine developments in North America.

The Energy Department has described Thacker Pass as holding North America's largest proven lithium reserves. The project is in northern Nevada and is being developed by Lithium Americas with General Motors; the U.S. government also holds minority stakes in the company and project.

The car-loan-interest deduction is limited to vehicles made in America.

IRS guidance confirms that qualified passenger vehicles must have final assembly in the United States. The deduction also has a $10,000 annual cap and income phaseouts, but Trump's narrower made-in-America condition was accurate.

U.S. manufacturing was booming.

The latest ISM survey showed manufacturing expanding for a seventh consecutive month in July, with its headline index rising to 55.6, the strongest reading since May 2022. 'Booming' is promotional language, but the measurable core of the claim is supported by the current broad factory survey.

The stock market was at an all-time high.

The S&P 500 rose 1.8% on August 4 to a record close, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average also closed at a record. The broad-market evidence supports Trump's same-day claim.

The House had passed the Sunshine Protection Act.

The House Clerk records that H.R. 139 passed on July 14 by 308-117. The bill had not yet completed Senate action, but Trump's narrower statement about House passage was accurate.

The executive order established the President's Military Spouse Commission to advise on policies affecting military spouses and families.

The signed August 3 order creates the commission and directs it to advise the president on housing, employment, health care, education, deployment support and military-family quality of life.

The United States and Japan jointly intervened in foreign-exchange markets to support the yen.

AP reported that Trump and Japan's finance minister both confirmed the intervention. The yen had weakened to a 40-year low against the dollar before the coordinated action.

Trump held a Cabinet meeting at Camp David that was opened to the press.

The Roll Call/Factba.se schedule and full transcript document the Camp David Cabinet meeting and the public transcript record.

The Dulles modernization plan announced by Trump is roughly a $22.5 billion project and would eliminate the airport's people movers.

AP and Guardian coverage of the Oval Office announcement described the project at about $22.5 billion and reported that the mobile-lounge people movers would be replaced by new passenger-transport options.

Dulles handled about 29 million passengers in 2025.

AP reported the 29 million-passenger figure in its Dulles modernization coverage, matching the airport-capacity context Trump used to promote the redesign.

The car-loan-interest deduction is limited to vehicles made in America.

Trump said the deduction applies only if the car is made in America. IRS guidance supports the core condition: qualified vehicles must have final assembly in the United States, though the broader deduction also has a $10,000 annual cap and income phaseouts.

Major technology companies signed the pledge.

AP confirmed Google, Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, xAI, OpenAI and Amazon were among participating companies.

Eligible newborns can receive a one-time $1,000 federal deposit.

IRS and Treasury guidance confirms the pilot payment for eligible U.S. citizens born from 2025 through 2028 when an election is made.

Foreign governments have capabilities to target U.S. election infrastructure.

U.S. intelligence has long documented foreign cyber and influence capabilities.

China and other foreign countries had tried to meddle in U.S. elections.

Public intelligence assessments document foreign influence efforts, although they do not show that foreign actors changed cast votes.

July 4, 2026 marked 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was adopted.

Trump said the country would mark 250 years of American independence on July 4. The National Archives records that the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration on July 4, 1776.

Trump signed the National Quantum Initiative Act into law in 2018.

Trump made this claim while signing the June quantum orders. Congress's official legislative record confirms that the National Quantum Initiative Act was signed by the president and became Public Law 115-368 on December 21, 2018.

The Secure America Act funded ICE and Border Patrol through the end of Trump's term.

Trump said the law would fund immigration enforcement through the end of his term. The enacted law and contemporaneous AP reporting confirm nearly $70 billion for ICE and Border Patrol through fiscal year 2029, covering the remainder of the term.

A recent week of initial jobless claims was the lowest since 1969.

Labor Department data showed the late-April weekly total was the lowest since September 1969, although that did not describe the month as a whole.

The United States was producing more oil than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.

Contemporary production data broadly supported the comparison, though country totals vary by petroleum definition.

The United States produced more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined.

Production data broadly supported the combined comparison, although totals vary depending on the petroleum definition used.

Major technology companies signed the White House ratepayer-protection pledge.

Representatives of the participating companies signed the pledge at the recorded White House event.

The stock market set 53 record highs after the 2024 election.

The cited count of closing highs was broadly supported, although it does not establish the cause of the market's performance.

The 2025 murder rate recorded the largest annual decline on record.

Preliminary national data supported a historic one-year decline, although the downward trend began earlier.

The United States had net negative migration in 2025, the first time in decades.

A Brookings estimate put 2025 net migration close to zero or negative and said the last negative period was more than eight decades earlier, while warning that reduced data transparency made the estimate uncertain.

Denmark had spent less than 1% of a promised $200 million aid package for Greenland.

PolitiFact reported that Denmark had spent only about 1% of the 2019 package by 2024, supporting the direction of the claim while leaving the exact fraction dependent on the underlying Danish report.

Trump won all seven swing states and the popular vote in the 2024 election.

Federal election results support both statements. This does not support his separate description of the victory as a giant historical landslide.

False 100

More people were working in the United States than ever before.

The latest Bureau of Labor Statistics household survey estimated 162.2 million employed people in July 2026, down from 163.1 million a year earlier and below the 163.9 million level recorded in June 2025. The July employment-to-population ratio was also 58.9%, not a record. The claim is contradicted even on the raw head-count measure.

The United States had total and exclusive control of the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States was enforcing a powerful blockade and coordinating a limited southern shipping lane, but AP reported that Iran continued attacking vessels, largely impeding traffic and effectively keeping the strait shut. Axios likewise reported that an agreement to reopen the waterway remained pending and contemplated partial Iranian control. Those facts directly contradict total and exclusive U.S. control.

The combined MMR vaccine may be quite lethal while separate shots appear not lethal, and spacing childhood shots could reduce autism.

The CDC says there is no published scientific evidence of a benefit from separating MMR into three shots. Decades of studies involving millions of children find no causal link between childhood vaccines and autism. MMR can have rare serious adverse reactions, but the reviewed evidence does not support Trump's contrast between a dangerous combined shot and safe separate doses or his proposed autism benefit.

Large amounts—described as vats or a soda-bottle-sized quantity—of vaccine were being pumped into a child's body.

An Associated Press Fact Focus reports that individual vaccine doses are usually about 0.1 to 0.3 milliliters and remain under 0.5 milliliters. A typical 500-milliliter soda bottle contains roughly 2,500 times the amount of a typical vaccine dose, so Trump's volume comparison is not remotely accurate.

Spacing the childhood vaccinations carried no downside; the worst outcome would be that nothing happened.

Delaying recommended doses can leave children unprotected for longer and increase the chance that they contract a vaccine-preventable disease before returning for another appointment. Medical groups cited by the Associated Press warned specifically that changing the proven schedule without credible evidence risks children's health and public confidence.

No one had crossed the southern border illegally for 15 months.

Border encounters fell sharply, but they did not reach zero. Customs and Border Protection data cited in a July fact-check show nearly 103,000 southwest-border land encounters in fiscal 2026 and nearly 444,000 in fiscal 2025. Encounters are not a count of every successful unlawful entry, but their continued occurrence directly contradicts the categorical zero claim.

The United States was producing almost more coal than ever before.

Energy Information Administration data show U.S. coal output remains far below its 2008 peak of roughly 1.17 billion short tons. First-quarter 2026 production was only about 132 million short tons, even though it rose slightly from a year earlier.

China sells wind turbines but uses very few itself, apart from one show project that does not work.

China has the world's largest installed wind-power system and most turbines supplied by Chinese manufacturers are installed in China. The reviewed evidence directly contradicts the claim that domestic use is rare or merely for show.

The United States is essentially the only country that grants birthright citizenship.

Pew Research Center's review of the GLOBALCIT dataset identified 32 other countries with automatic, generally applicable birthright citizenship, including Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil.

The Fourteenth Amendment's citizenship guarantee was adopted one or two weeks after the Civil War ended.

The Civil War ended in 1865; Congress proposed the Fourteenth Amendment in June 1866 and it was ratified in July 1868. The timing asserted at the signing was off by years, not weeks.

Zero people had entered the United States illegally through the southern border during the preceding 16 months.

Border encounters fell sharply, and the administration reported zero releases for successive months, but CBP still recorded thousands of southwest-border apprehensions. Zero releases after apprehension is not zero illegal crossings.

Twenty-five million people entered the United States through the southern border during the Biden administration.

The figure substantially exceeds credible measures of encounters, releases and the unauthorized population. Encounters also include repeat attempts and people quickly expelled, so they cannot be treated as 25 million admitted individuals.

Twenty-five million people entered the United States through the southern border during the Biden administration.

The figure substantially exceeds credible measures of encounters, releases and the unauthorized population. Border encounters also include repeat attempts and people quickly expelled, so they cannot be treated as 25 million admitted individuals.

Not one person had been allowed to enter the United States illegally during the preceding 15 months.

Border encounters fell sharply, but official data continued to record thousands of encounters and entries. The literal zero claim is not supported.

The administration secured more than $19.2 trillion in new U.S. investment in one year.

The administration's public list combines multi-year announcements, nonbinding pledges, purchases and projects that predate the current term. Independent reviews found a substantially smaller documented total, so the speech treated neither a verified one-year investment flow nor an auditable commitment total as $19.2 trillion.

Trump inherited the worst inflation in U.S. history.

The annual CPI increase was 3.0% when Trump returned to office. The Biden-era peak was 9.1% in June 2022, the highest in about four decades but far below historical U.S. inflation peaks.

Prescription-drug prices were down by 400% to 600%.

A price reduction greater than 100% is mathematically impossible. Most-favored-nation policy announcements and selected negotiated prices do not establish completed nationwide reductions of the magnitude claimed.

Trump inherited the worst inflation in the history of the United States.

The annual Consumer Price Index increase was 3.0% when Trump returned to office. Inflation peaked at 9.1% under Biden in June 2022, well below the 23.7% 12-month increase recorded in 1920. The newly available Fox interview repeated a historically false comparison.

In 15 months, not one person had come through the southern border illegally.

DHS and CBP reported 9,848 Border Patrol apprehensions along the southwest border in June 2026 alone. The administration's zero figure referred to releases after apprehension, not to illegal crossings or apprehensions.

The United States made $25 billion on its currency-swap deal with Argentina.

AP reported that Argentina drew $2.5 billion from the $20 billion facility and that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent described the U.S. profit as tens of millions of dollars, not $25 billion.

The United States made about $75 billion to $80 billion from its Intel stake.

Intel's agreement records 433.3 million government shares bought at $20.47 each. At Intel's $90.20 Nasdaq close on July 31, the entire stake was worth about $39.1 billion and its unrealized gain was about $30.2 billion, both far below the claim.

Minnesota and Gov. Tim Walz were behind recent cyberattacks on Minnesota water systems.

AP reported that authorities had not identified Minnesota or Walz as the source; federal cyber agencies had warned of Iranian targeting of water and wastewater systems.

Prescription-drug discounts of 300% to 600% have been achieved.

AP noted that a price cut above 100% would mean patients were paid to take drugs, making the percentage claim impossible as stated.

Biden allowed 25 million people into the United States.

AP cited Customs and Border Protection data showing about 10.8 million border arrests from January 2021 through December 2024, with repeat crossings meaning people counted were fewer than arrests.

Biden and Democrats created the worst inflation in 48 years.

Trump repeated this in the Milford remarks. FactCheck.org and BLS context show the Biden-era CPI peak of 9.1% in June 2022 was the largest 12-month increase since November 1981, roughly four decades, not 48 years, and it was not a record.

Trump “won three times,” including a rigged 2020 election.

He won the presidency in 2016 and 2024. Joe Biden legitimately won the 2020 election; Trump has not produced evidence establishing a rigged result.

$19.2 trillion is being spent in the United States.

CNN found the figure unsupported. Even the White House’s broader tally was $10.7 trillion in announcements and included vague pledges, not verified spending.

California's ballot-counting timeline demonstrated nefarious conduct.

The timeline followed state law for receiving and verifying mail ballots and was not evidence of fraud.

Israel would not exist today if Trump had not withdrawn from the Iran nuclear agreement.

The sweeping counterfactual was unsupported, and the agreement restricted Iran's nuclear program rather than authorizing a weapon.

The JCPOA was a road that allowed Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon.

The agreement imposed enrichment, stockpile and monitoring limits and did not grant Iran a right to nuclear weapons.

Ongoing ballot counting in California meant officials were cheating.

Continuing to count valid ballots under state procedures is not evidence of election fraud.

Slow primary counting in California proved the election was rigged.

California's lawful mail-ballot timetable did not establish fraud.

Trump never guaranteed he would keep the United States out of new wars.

Campaign statements included explicit promises to keep the country out of wars.

FBI agents ushered January 6 rioters into the Capitol.

Investigations found no evidence that undercover FBI employees orchestrated or facilitated the attack.

Iran obtained all of its uranium during the Obama administration.

FactCheck.org reported Iran's enriched-uranium stockpile grew sharply after Trump withdrew from the nuclear agreement, not entirely during Obama's presidency.

A cognitive screening test demonstrated extreme intelligence.

The screening test checks for possible cognitive impairment and is not an intelligence test or a measure of exceptional intelligence.

Iran's navy, air force and all other military capabilities were gone.

Iran's forces were significantly degraded, but intelligence assessments said substantial missile, drone and air-defense capabilities remained.

Three Iowa gas stations displayed regular gasoline prices between $1.85 and $1.90 during his January visit.

Tracked regular-gas prices did not support those figures; the claim may have conflated regular gasoline with the niche E85 blend.

Prescription drug prices had fallen by 400% to 600%.

A price reduction greater than 100% is mathematically impossible.

Eighteen trillion dollars in investment was coming into the United States in eleven months.

The White House listed $10.6 trillion in announcements, and that total included vague, nonbinding or non-investment pledges.

The Obama and Biden administrations spent hundreds of millions of dollars repairing the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.

The Obama-era contract was about $35 million and the Biden administration did not undertake the proposed major rehabilitation.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is 2,400 feet long and longer than the world's tallest building.

The pool is about 2,028 feet long, while the Burj Khalifa exceeds 2,700 feet.

Stopping federal fraud would produce a balanced budget.

Even the government's high-end estimate of annual fraud losses was far smaller than the projected federal deficit.

Maryland sent 500,000 fake, corrupt or illegal ballots to help Democrats.

A vendor error produced duplicate primary mailings, but safeguards prevented duplicate voting and there was no evidence of a partisan fraud scheme.

The federal government had created numerous reserves similar to the new anti-weaponization settlement fund.

The cited precedents were not comparable federal reserve funds of the kind described.

Twenty-five million people entered the United States under Biden's border policy.

Credible measures of encounters, releases and the unauthorized population do not support treating 25 million people as admitted entrants.

No one had entered through the border during the preceding 11 months.

Border encounters fell sharply, but official data did not show zero entries or encounters.

Gasoline prices had come down very substantially that day.

Available price data did not show a substantial same-day decline.

Consumer confidence was way up.

Major consumer-confidence measures had declined rather than risen sharply.

Zero undocumented immigrants had entered the United States during the preceding 11 months.

Border apprehensions fell sharply but official data still recorded thousands of encounters, so the literal zero claim was incorrect.

Thom Tillis was no longer a senator.

Tillis remained a sitting U.S. senator when Trump made the statement.

Pope Leo XIV thought it was acceptable for Iran to possess a nuclear weapon.

The pope had called for preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons; the cited remarks did not support Trump’s characterization.

The United States had no inflation.

Consumer prices were 2.4% higher than a year earlier.

More than $18 trillion in record-setting investment was coming into the United States.

The White House's own compilation was far lower and included speculative or previously announced commitments.

The administration saved two million American farms from extinction through estate-tax changes.

There were fewer than two million farms in the United States, and only a small fraction of farm estates would otherwise have owed the tax.

American soybeans were being shipped to China in record amounts.

Exports to China were about half the prior year's level at that point, and the announced annual purchase amount was below recent averages.

Beef prices were starting to come down.

Ground beef was down only one cent month to month and remained substantially higher year over year, while other beef prices rose.

An environmental restriction had forced the U.S. cattle herd down and Trump eliminated it.

The White House cited the nonbinding Green New Deal resolution, which never passed and imposed no cattle restriction to repeal.

A $12 billion farm-aid package was paid from tariff revenue.

The aid came through the Commodity Credit Corporation, which is funded by regular congressional appropriations.

Mail-in voting means mail-in cheating.

Evidence does not show that voting by mail inherently produces widespread fraud.

The United States was the only country that used mail-in voting.

Multiple other democracies permit postal voting, so the categorical claim was incorrect.

Iran had Tomahawk missiles.

Tomahawk is a U.S.-made cruise missile; available inventories did not support the claim.

The Biden administration produced the worst inflation in U.S. history.

The 2022 peak was the highest in about four decades, not the highest in U.S. history.

The 2015 Iran nuclear agreement gave Iran the right to possess top-of-the-line nuclear weapons.

The agreement restricted Iran’s nuclear program and did not grant a right to nuclear weapons.

The administration ended eight wars in ten months.

AP found the figure highly exaggerated and several cited disputes were not wars conclusively ended by the administration.

Trump inherited inflation at record levels.

The annual inflation rate was 3% and far below historical records.

The United States secured $18 trillion in investment commitments.

The White House's own compilation was substantially lower and included nonbinding pledges.

Gasoline was below $2.30 in most states.

Statewide averages did not support the claim.

The warrior dividend was paid from tariff revenue.

The payment was funded through enacted federal appropriations, not a dedicated tariff account.

Cheating is rampant in U.S. elections.

Documented election fraud is rare and not shown at the systemic scale claimed.

Noncitizen voting is rampant in U.S. elections.

Large-scale citizenship checks flagged only a tiny share of registrations, and flags did not establish that those people voted.

Eliminating federal fraud could balance the budget overnight.

The government's high-end estimate of annual fraud losses was far below the roughly $1.8 trillion federal deficit.

U.S. oil production had risen by more than 600,000 barrels per day since Trump returned to office.

FactCheck.org reported the increase was about 334,600 barrels per day over the relevant period, far below the figure Trump gave.

U.S. hockey player Brady Tkachuk made a profane statement about the Canadian team.

The quotation circulated in a fabricated social-media post and was not an authentic statement by Tkachuk.

The greenhouse-gas endangerment finding had no basis in fact or law.

The finding rested on a large scientific record and was upheld by a federal appeals court.

Among Somalis in Minnesota, 92% do not work.

Employment data did not support the 92% figure.

Drugs entering the United States by sea were down 97%.

A narrow CBP seizure series fell sharply, but seizures do not measure how much drug traffic enters the country, and broader Coast Guard data did not support the claimed 97% decline.

$18 trillion was being invested in the United States.

AP found no evidence for that total; the White House’s own broader compilation was substantially lower and included speculative commitments.

A severe U.S. cold wave showed that global warming was not occurring.

Local weather over a few days does not measure the long-term global climate; the prior three years were the warmest on record and most of the world was warmer than average during the U.S. cold spell.

The forecast 40-state cold wave was rarely seen before.

National Weather Service records showed substantially colder historical events in affected cities and a colder Lower 48 average in January 1985.

Minnesota immigration protests were fake demonstrations run by professional insurrectionists.

Reporting, eyewitness accounts and protest researchers supported a large volunteer movement; the purported evidence of paid professionals was AI-generated, recycled or unsubstantiated.

China builds practically no wind farms.

China had the world's largest wind-energy fleet and continued to add wind capacity, contradicting the categorical claim.

The United States had secured $18 trillion in new investment commitments.

The White House’s own published total was $9.6 trillion, and experts cautioned that some listed pledges might never materialize.

Gasoline averaged $1.99 per gallon in many states.

No state’s average was below $2; only a limited number of individual stations advertised prices under that threshold.

Fentanyl overdoses killed 300,000 people in the preceding year.

Federal data recorded about 69,000 deaths from all drug overdoses, not solely fentanyl, in the latest twelve-month period.

No previous president had probably ever settled a war.

The historical record contains numerous presidentially brokered armistices, peace agreements and conflict settlements.

The United States gave Greenland back to Denmark after World War II.

Greenland did not belong to the United States, so the United States could not have returned it to Denmark.

The Biden administration subjected the United States to stagflation.

Inflation rose, but real GDP expanded at healthy rates throughout Biden's presidency rather than stagnating.

The United States had received absolutely nothing in return for its NATO spending.

NATO invoked collective defense after 9/11, and allies supplied troops and support for U.S.-led operations.

Countries lose more money and perform worse as they add more wind power.

Onshore wind was among the cheapest new electricity sources, and the claimed cross-country relationship was unsupported.

The 2020 presidential election was rigged and Biden did not win it.

Certified results gave Biden 306 electoral votes and a popular-vote margin exceeding seven million; investigations found no outcome-changing fraud.

There were no written documents supporting Denmark’s right of ownership over Greenland.

Treaties, an international court judgment, Denmark’s constitutional settlement and U.S. diplomatic agreements document Danish sovereignty while recognizing Greenland’s right to pursue independence.

Stopping the alleged fraud would balance the federal budget.

The government’s high-end estimate of annual fraud losses was less than one-third of the fiscal 2025 deficit, even before accounting for the difficulty of recovering every loss.

Credit-card companies would violate the law unless they capped interest rates at 10% by January 20.

No enacted federal law imposed that deadline or universal cap.

Renée Good violently ran over an ICE officer before the officer shot her in self-defense.

Closer video reviewed by FactCheck.org showed the officer was not run over. The footage shows Good’s vehicle turning away as the officer fired, contradicting Trump’s description of the encounter.

The former U.S. childhood vaccine schedule required babies to receive 72 injections.

The schedule did not require 72 injections for babies; the figure conflated recommended doses across 18 years and assumed each dose would be a separate injection.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz had Democratic lawmaker Melissa Hortman killed.

Authorities identified no evidence tying Walz to Hortman’s killing; prosecutors described the supposed link as unsubstantiated.

Each alleged drug boat struck by the U.S. would otherwise have killed an average of 25,000 people.

The administration had not identified the drugs or quantities on the boats, and multiplying the claim across the strikes produced a death total far above recent annual U.S. overdose deaths.

Washington, D.C., had gone six or seven months without a killing.

Metropolitan Police data recorded 59 homicides during the preceding seven months, including two in the week before Trump spoke.

The National Guard deployment helped reduce crime in Chicago.

Guard members never deployed to Chicago streets while court challenges proceeded, and the proposed mission was to protect federal personnel and property rather than conduct ordinary crime control.

Misleading 102

Prices were dropping fast across the United States.

Some high-profile prices did decline: the July CPI report showed gasoline down 2.9% and groceries down 0.1% from June. But the overall Consumer Price Index rose 0.1% for the month and 3.4% over the year, with shelter, restaurant meals, electricity and several services still increasing. Selected declines do not support the broad impression that prices generally were falling rapidly.

In many cases, children were being required to receive 72 vaccine injections.

The Associated Press found that the 2025 federal schedule recommended routine protection against 18 diseases but did not require 72 injections. Excluding annually repeated flu or COVID-19 doses, the number was closer to three dozen and varied with combination products and starting age. School requirements are set by states, cover narrower lists and commonly allow exemptions.

Toyota was leaving Mexico for the United States to build the world's largest car plant.

Toyota announced a $3.6 billion Texas plant and plans to move some Tacoma production from Baja California, but it will keep Tacoma production in Guanajuato and said it remains committed to operations in Mexico. The company described a 2.5-million-square-foot Texas facility; the reviewed announcement does not establish it as the world's largest car plant.

Black and Brown voters are flocking to the Republican Party.

Republicans made real gains with Black and Hispanic voters in 2024, but the current evidence does not show both groups flocking to the GOP. Pew's 2026 affiliation data still gives Democrats large leads among Black adults (73% to 14%) and Hispanic adults (57% to 29%), and says both groups shifted modestly away from Republicans since 2025. AP-NORC also finds Hispanic approval of Trump fell from 41% early in his term to 29% in June. The historical note that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican is accurate but does not establish the claimed present movement.

The administration had secured $19.2 trillion in U.S. investment in about one year.

The White House list combines multiyear announcements, nonbinding pledges, purchases and projects that predate the current term. It is not an audited measure of investment already made during one year, and independent reviews found a substantially smaller documented total.

Federal mining permits that previously took three to five years now take as little as 25 days.

The administration has accelerated selected federal reviews, but a mine can require multiple federal, state, local and environmental approvals. A best-case step or isolated approval does not establish that full mining permits generally fell from years to 25 days.

Intel gave the United States 10% of the company and the government had made about $82 billion in profit.

The government acquired a 9.9% passive stake by converting $8.9 billion in previously awarded federal support into 433.3 million shares. The stake appreciated substantially, but it was purchased rather than donated, and any market gain remained unrealized and price-dependent rather than a booked $82 billion profit.

The United States produced more oil than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.

The comparison works only with a broad measure that adds natural-gas liquids and other petroleum liquids. On the narrower crude-oil measure, 2025 U.S. output was about 13.6 million barrels per day, well below Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.

U.S. mining programs graduate fewer than 170 engineers a year and half the current workforce will retire within three years.

Recent Colorado School of Mines reporting puts annual graduates from 14 accredited U.S. programs at about 300. Industry and legislative sources project more than half the workforce retiring by 2029 or within five years, not within three; the broader workforce shortage is real, but the speech compressed both figures.

Birthright citizenship was meant for the babies of formerly enslaved people, not for children of noncitizens generally.

Securing citizenship for formerly enslaved people and their descendants was a central purpose, but the amendment's text covers all persons born in the United States and subject to its jurisdiction. The Supreme Court's 1898 Wong Kim Ark decision applied that guarantee to a U.S.-born child of noncitizen Chinese parents.

Biden allowed 11,888 murderers into the United States.

The cited ICE non-detained docket accumulated cases over decades, including Trump's first term, and included people serving prison sentences. It does not show that Biden admitted or released 11,888 convicted murderers.

Tariffs were bringing in hundreds of billions of dollars with no inflation.

Tariff collections rose, but the 'no inflation' claim is contradicted by the latest Consumer Price Index: prices were 3.5% higher in June 2026 than a year earlier. Tariffs are collected from U.S. importers, not paid directly by foreign governments.

The administration had $19.2 trillion in investment pouring into the United States.

The White House list combines multiyear announcements, nonbinding pledges, purchases and projects that predate the current term. It is not an audited measure of investment already flowing into the economy, and independent reviews found a substantially smaller documented total.

American exports had skyrocketed to the highest level in U.S. history.

AP's follow-up Fact Focus found that monthly goods exports did reach a record in April and that first-half goods exports were on pace for a record annual total. But the latest June data had already fallen from that peak: total exports declined 0.9% from May, the three-month average slipped, and goods exports remained well below imports. The speech presented an earlier peak and an annualized projection as the current level while omitting the subsequent decline.

More Americans were working than at any point in U.S. history.

The raw number of employed people can reach a record as the population grows, but that does not establish the strongest labor market in history. The June employment-to-population ratio was 59.0%, below earlier peaks, and had edged down over the month.

Biden allowed 11,888 murderers into the United States.

The cited ICE non-detained docket accumulated cases over decades, including Trump's first term, and included people serving prison sentences. It does not show that Biden admitted or released 11,888 convicted murderers.

Tipped workers pay zero taxes on their tipped income.

The law created a federal income-tax deduction for qualified tips, not a blanket exemption from every tax. The deduction is capped at $25,000, phases out at higher incomes and has occupation, reporting, filing-status and Social Security-number requirements.

Workers pay no tax on overtime income.

The federal deduction covers only the premium portion of qualifying overtime required by the Fair Labor Standards Act. It is capped at $12,500 for individuals, phases out at higher incomes and does not eliminate payroll or all other taxes on overtime pay.

The tax law means no tax on Social Security for seniors.

The law added a temporary, income-limited deduction for eligible taxpayers age 65 or older; it did not repeal federal taxation of Social Security benefits for every senior.

Every newborn baby receives a $1,000 federal Trump Account deposit at birth.

The pilot contribution is limited to eligible U.S. citizens born from 2025 through 2028 and requires an election to open the account. It is not an automatic payment to every newborn.

Trump-endorsed candidates had a 99% success rate in 2026 Republican primaries.

Independent tracking confirmed a very high win rate, but the available counts did not support the precise 99% figure: Ballotpedia-based reviews put it at roughly 97% to 98%, depending on the snapshot and denominator. The graphic supplied no source or methodology and included many safe or uncontested races, so it slightly overstated a real underlying advantage.

The United States had $19.2 trillion being invested because of Trump's policies.

The administration lists a large collection of announced domestic investment commitments, many extending across several years. But the published list is non-comprehensive rather than an audited total, and independent review found that the aggregate includes pledges that may not materialize and investments that cannot all be attributed to Trump. Presenting the full $19.2 trillion as investment already underway overstates what the public record establishes.

Every service member received a $1,776 Warrior Dividend last Christmas.

About 1.45 million service members received the payment, but eligibility was limited to active-duty members at pay grade O-6 or below and qualifying reserve members on active-duty orders. The payment was real, but 'every service member' erased those limits.

There is already a deal on the Strait of Hormuz, with Iranian denuclearization to follow.

AP reported that mediators had only a proposal to return the parties to negotiations and that no deal had been reached. Iran's Foreign Ministry said there was no current discussion of reopening the strait.

Iran and other Middle Eastern countries had agreed to the parameters of a deal that would fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz and end Iran's nuclear threat.

AP found that mediators had a proposal and talks were continuing, but a regional official said no deal had been reached. Iran's Foreign Ministry said there were no current talks about reopening the strait. The post therefore overstated preliminary mediation as regional agreement on deal parameters.

Trump ended eight wars.

AP found the claim exaggerated: Trump has mediated between nations, but at least two cited cases were not wars to end and his role was less clear-cut than the claim suggests.

Andy Burnham planned to open up the North Sea to oil development.

Trump said Britain's new prime minister had told him he planned to open up the North Sea. The public record reviewed shows a narrower position: continued extraction from existing licensed areas and reviews of specific projects, not a broad commitment to entirely new drilling.

The auto industry is back and tariffs are reviving U.S. auto manufacturing.

Trump credited his tariffs with bringing the auto industry back. AP reported he made that case amid business criticism of tariff harm, while BLS industry data showed motor-vehicle-and-parts manufacturing employment down by 21,400 jobs from June 2025 to June 2026.

Washington is “almost a crime-free city” and crime fell 88%.

Crime was down, but police had recorded more than 11,000 crimes and 57 homicides in 2026. Overall crime was about 20% lower, not 88%.

The pledge guarantees families will not pay data-center electricity costs.

The commitment is voluntary, not a binding guarantee. States and Congress were separately considering enforceable requirements, and some signatories opposed such mandates.

Trump Accounts automatically take care of America’s youth.

Participation requires an election; the $1,000 is limited by birth-year and citizenship rules. Larger gains depend on market performance and additional contributions.

Thousands of undocumented immigrants voted in New Jersey.

The cited evidence did not establish thousands of noncitizen ballots.

China illicitly acquired files on 220 million U.S. voters and the government kept it secret.

Known cyber incidents and commercially available voter data did not support the full characterization.

U.S. election systems are easily compromised enough to alter results.

Foreign actors pose real threats, but audits and safeguards have not shown altered national results.

Michigan's fraudulent voter applications showed outcome-changing election fraud.

Officials intercepted suspicious applications before ballots were cast; the episode did not show altered results.

Artificial intelligence would need almost twice as much energy as the entire country produced.

High-end forecasts show very large demand growth, but did not support the broad near-term comparison as stated.

Biden raised rents 40% to 50% by housing undocumented immigrants in empty units.

Rents rose for multiple reasons and the claimed magnitude and single cause were not supported.

Trump Accounts give every child an automatic $1,000 federal contribution.

Accounts can be opened more broadly, but the federal pilot deposit requires an election and is limited to eligible U.S. citizens born from 2025 through 2028.

Trump was profiting because the stock market was rising and he held a lot of cash.

The explanation omitted the varied composition and valuation of his assets and did not establish the claimed causal account.

The Supreme Court ruled broadly against men playing in women's sports.

The ruling addressed specific state restrictions and did not resolve every policy covered by the broad characterization.

Religion was back in the United States, bigger and stronger than it had been in many years.

Multiple national surveys showed long-term declines or recent stability in affiliation and attendance rather than a broad religious resurgence.

The typical 401(k) had risen almost $30,000 in 13 months.

The estimate depended on selective assumptions and was not representative of every typical account holder.

Iran was very close to a nuclear weapon under the Obama-era deal.

The agreement imposed enrichment and monitoring limits and intelligence did not establish an imminent weapon.

The current economy exceeded the greatest economy ever in Trump's first term.

Several major indicators did not support either superlative.

More factories were being built than ever before.

Manufacturing construction remained elevated but had declined from its peak.

Obama emptied out banks around Washington to send $1.7 billion in cash to Iran.

The payment settled a decades-old U.S. debt and was made in foreign currency because sanctions blocked a dollar transfer; the bank-emptying description was unsupported.

Many January 6 defendants were arrested even though they never entered the Capitol building.

Some defendants were charged for conduct outside the building, but many outside cases involved assault, restricted-area breaches or other unlawful conduct; the statement omitted that context.

Coal is ‘clean’ without qualification.

Controls reduce some emissions, but burning coal still produces carbon dioxide and other pollutants.

Trump did not call the Iran war a war, only a conflict.

He had repeatedly called it a war, including later in the same Cabinet meeting.

Biden let 11,888 murderers into the United States.

The cited ICE docket covered people accumulated across multiple administrations and included people in custody, so it did not show that Biden let that number enter or roam free.

Fraudulent payments to people listed as 115 to 125 years old could save Social Security without benefit changes.

Old database records generally did not indicate active payments, and identified fraud was far too small to alter the program's finances.

No Republican wins in Nassau County.

Republicans had won multiple recent elections in Nassau County.

More Americans were working than at any time in U.S. history.

The raw employment count was high largely because the population had grown; employment and participation rates did not show an equivalent record.

Biden allowed 11,888 murderers into the United States.

The cited ICE docket accumulated cases over multiple decades, including Trump's first term, and includes people serving prison sentences.

The tax law created no tax on Social Security for seniors.

It created a temporary, income-limited deduction rather than eliminating Social Security taxation for every beneficiary.

The tax law created no tax on overtime.

The law provides a capped deduction for qualifying overtime compensation, not a universal elimination of all taxes on overtime pay.

The tax law created no tax on tips.

The law provides a capped deduction for qualifying tip income with eligibility restrictions, not a universal tax exemption.

Small businesses and farms have no inheritance or estate tax.

The law raised and extended the exemption threshold but did not repeal the estate tax.

U.S. strikes had totally obliterated three Iranian nuclear sites.

The strikes damaged the sites and set back enrichment, but expert and intelligence assessments did not support complete destruction of the sites or Iran’s nuclear capability.

Iran was right at the doorstep of possessing a nuclear bomb.

Arms-control experts found no evidence that a weapon was imminent or that Iran had resumed the necessary weaponization work before the operation.

The United States became the world’s leading oil and gas producer because of Trump’s leadership.

The United States became the top producer of natural gas and petroleum before Trump’s first presidential term, so the production ranking cannot be attributed solely to his leadership.

Iran's new leadership was less radical and more reasonable after regime change.

Iran's new supreme leader was viewed as at least as hard-line, while the Revolutionary Guard had gained influence.

The United States was totally independent of Middle Eastern oil and unaffected by regional supply.

Direct imports were limited, but globally traded oil prices and U.S. gasoline costs remained exposed to Middle Eastern disruption.

Obama gave Iran $1.7 billion in cash.

The payment settled a decades-old debt for military equipment the United States never delivered; it was not a gift.

The United States had achieved regime change.

Political change had occurred, but the claim overstated the administration’s demonstrated role and the stability of the outcome.

More Americans were working than at any time in U.S. history.

The head count was high because population grows, while the employment rate was below historical peaks.

The administration ended the estate tax for family farms and small businesses.

The law increased and extended the exemption but did not repeal the federal estate tax.

Elections cannot be accurate when mail-in ballots are used.

Mail voting is widely used with verification safeguards; documented fraud is rare and not shown to make mail elections inherently inaccurate.

Iran's effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz did not really affect the United States.

Although direct Persian Gulf imports were limited, the closure raised global oil prices and contributed to a sharp increase in U.S. gasoline prices.

Iran was responsible for the bombing of the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school.

Available video, satellite imagery and expert analysis instead indicated that a U.S. strike was likely responsible, while the official investigation remained incomplete.

The United States had a virtually unlimited supply of munitions and could fight with them forever.

Stockpiles varied by weapon type; experts identified strained interceptor and precision-missile supplies that would require replenishment.

Earlier U.S. strikes obliterated Iran's nuclear program.

The strikes damaged facilities but did not eliminate Iran's nuclear expertise or all material.

Trump inherited a stagnant economy.

Real GDP grew 2.8% in 2024, so the economy was not stagnant by that standard.

More Americans were working than at any time in history.

The raw number rises with population; the employment-to-population ratio remained below its 2000 peak.

The tax law delivered no tax on Social Security.

The temporary deduction does not eliminate tax for every beneficiary and is limited by age and income rules.

The economy was roaring like never before.

Growth was positive, but available measures did not establish an unprecedented boom.

The 43-day federal shutdown cost two percentage points of GDP growth.

The Bureau of Economic Analysis attributed one percentage point of reduced fourth-quarter growth to the shutdown, not two.

Prices were plummeting.

Some prices declined, but the broad consumer price index was still rising.

Americans now pay the lowest prescription-drug prices anywhere in the world.

Some negotiated cash prices fell, but the evidence did not show a broad decline to the world's lowest drug prices.

There had been a tremendous renewal of religion during Trump's time in office.

Gallup and Pew data showed long-term decline or stability rather than the claimed broad renewal.

Religious renewal was especially strong among young people.

Pew found no surge in religious belief among young adults, who remained less religious than older Americans.

Biden allowed 11,888 murderers into the United States.

The cited immigration docket accumulated cases over decades and did not show that Biden released that number.

Trump inherited rampant crime at home.

Violent crime and murder were already declining before he returned to office.

Tariffs could replace federal income taxes.

Projected tariff revenue was far below individual income-tax collections.

Iran's nuclear program was obliterated.

The strikes caused major damage but did not eliminate Iran's nuclear knowledge or all capabilities.

Republicans would always protect Medicaid without benefit cuts.

FactCheck.org noted Republican-backed legislation and budget plans included major Medicaid spending reductions and eligibility changes, making the blanket promise misleading.

Natural-gas production reached an all-time high because of Trump's drill-baby-drill policy.

Natural-gas production was at record levels, but it had also reached records before Trump returned to office, so the causal framing overstated his role.

Minneapolis crime fell 25% to 30% because thousands of criminals were removed.

Some crime measures declined, but the magnitude and claimed causal link were not established.

The U.S. crime rate was the lowest since 1900.

Recent violent-crime declines were real, but no consistent national series supports a precise comparison to 1900.

More factories and plants were being built than ever before.

Manufacturing construction remained high, but overall spending had eased from its Biden-era peak and the available measures did not establish the claimed record.

Alex Pretti’s loaded handgun showed that he posed an armed threat to federal officers when they shot him.

Pretti was legally carrying a loaded handgun, but videos reviewed by multiple news organizations show a phone in his hand, do not show him brandishing the gun or threatening officers, and appear to show an officer removing it before the fatal shots.

The United States was leading China in artificial intelligence by a lot.

The U.S. led in model capability and advanced chips, but experts described China as only months behind and ahead in some supporting capabilities.

The United States gave Greenland back to Denmark after World War II.

The U.S. defended Greenland during World War II but never owned it; the claim turned a temporary defense role into territorial possession.

Groceries, energy, airfares, mortgage rates, rents and car payments were all coming down fast.

Some prices or rates had declined, but several major categories were mixed or still elevated; the across-the-board claim overstated the data.

Mass immigration and invasion were the main factor in high U.S. housing costs.

Immigration can affect local demand, but economists point to housing shortages, interest rates, zoning and construction constraints as larger drivers; the single-cause framing was misleading.

The United States had no inflation.

Overall prices were still rising, although some individual categories such as eggs and gasoline had declined.

The administration’s deportation effort was focused on murderers and drug dealers.

Detailed deportation data were unavailable, and about 74% of people then held in immigration detention had no criminal convictions.

One out of every four jobs added during Biden’s presidency was a government job.

Government positions accounted for about 11% of total job growth across Biden’s four years; a higher share applied only to a narrower selected period.

Trump had ended eight otherwise unendable wars in ten months.

Several cited conflicts were not conclusively ended, and renewed fighting or unresolved disputes remained.

The U.S. economy was booming after Trump's first year back in office.

The economy was growing and unemployment was low, but hiring had slowed sharply and inflation remained elevated.

Coal is clean.

Coal production is cleaner than it was historically, but burning coal still emits carbon dioxide and harmful air pollutants.

Trump’s 2024 election victory was a giant historical landslide.

His popular-vote margin was about 1.5 percentage points and his electoral total was smaller than several modern presidential victories.

Unresolved 35

The stock market had set 79 records in a short period.

Major indexes had recently reached record territory: AP reported that the S&P 500's August 11 close was only modestly below the all-time high set the previous week. Trump did not identify an index, the type of record or the period he counted, so the specific total of 79 cannot be reproduced or responsibly verified from the statement and reviewed market record.

Iran had killed 52,000 protesters during the preceding four to five months.

Iran's crackdown caused mass deaths, but the exact toll remains uncertain and Trump's figure has not been independently verified. Human-rights groups had documented at least 7,000 deaths while warning that the real total was higher; other public estimates were also below 52,000. The available record cannot substantiate or definitively rule out Trump's number.

The administration had signed or approved more than 160 mineral deals worth nearly $40 billion in 18 months.

The new White House fact sheet repeats the 160-deal, nearly $40 billion aggregate but does not provide a transaction-level ledger. The reviewed public announcements document many projects, but still do not independently verify both the count and value or distinguish signed financing from approvals, letters of interest and prospective commitments.

The United States was opening new mines at the fastest pace since the 1950s.

The public record shows accelerated critical-mineral activity, but no consistent historical series was found that defines and counts comparable mine openings across the period needed to substantiate this superlative.

Hundreds of thousands of people had obtained U.S. citizenship through birth tourism.

No official count establishes the cumulative number Trump asserted. Associated Press cited a Migration Policy Institute estimate of about 26,000 birth-tourism births in a year out of roughly 3.5 million total births, while other estimates range from the low thousands to tens of thousands annually; the claim supplied no period or auditable denominator.

More than half of the 11,888 people cited had killed more than two people.

The administration has not published evidence establishing that asserted proportion or the number of victims attributed to those docket cases.

The White House ballroom is a military complex with additional components Trump cannot publicly discuss.

Trump has publicly described planned drone, medical, research and meeting facilities tied to the project, but the public record cannot verify asserted classified or undisclosed components. AP also reported that a proposed $1 billion security-and-military funding package had stalled, leaving the project's current scope and construction baseline unsettled.

The White House ballroom project was on cost and substantially ahead of schedule.

Public estimates for the evolving project have risen sharply as its scope changed, and no independently audited August 4 budget baseline or construction schedule was located. The available public record cannot verify the current cost-and-schedule assertion.

The United States and Iran were talking at Iran's request on August 3.

Trump said direct talks were underway at Iran's request, while Iran's Foreign Ministry said its negotiations were with Oman, not the United States. Reporting supports mediator-carried messages, but the public record cannot establish whether private or indirect contacts amounted to the talks Trump described.

Iran asked Trump to call off the planned U.S. attack.

Reporting corroborated requests for restraint from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, but Iran publicly disputed Trump's account. The reviewed public record cannot resolve whether an indirect or private Iranian request was made.

Spain's weak law and bad management caused the Ceuta migrant surge.

AP reported that the immediate cause remained unclear. Spain rejected the premise, while reporting identified social-media misinformation, a court ruling, smugglers and underlying economic pressures as competing explanations.

Unqualified illegal immigrants are driving commercial trucks because states issued them commercial driver's licenses even though they were not entitled to them.

Trump made this broad attribution in the Freedom Haulers remarks. FMCSA rules tightly limit non-domiciled CDL eligibility to specific documented lawful-status categories, but the reviewed public record does not supply a nationwide dataset establishing the claimed scale, the asserted licensing causes, or the link to individual crashes. The claim therefore cannot be responsibly verified as stated.

Iran knew U.S. strikes were coming after the attempted attacks on American forces.

Trump said Iran knew the United States would hit it very hard. Subsequent reporting documented U.S. and Saudi strikes, but the public record does not establish what Iranian officials knew beforehand.

Benjamin Netanyahu wanted to brief Trump on Pickaxe Mountain because he wanted the United States to stay involved.

CBS reported Trump said in a Fox News interview that Netanyahu did not need to tell him about the Iranian site and was doing so because he wanted Trump to stay involved. The claim concerns Netanyahu's motive and cannot be responsibly verified from the public record reviewed.

Iran's whole shoreline is wiped out and Iran asked the United States not to shoot for two nights.

Trump made the claim in the Air Force One gaggle while describing Iran talks. Reuters reported his statement that talks were under way, but public evidence reviewed here did not verify the condition of Iran's shoreline or the asserted private Iranian requests.

More auto factories and plants are being built than at any time in U.S. history.

Trump used this superlative more than once in the Milford speech. The White House cited multiple auto-investment announcements, but the reviewed evidence did not provide a comprehensive historical auto-factory construction measure that would verify the all-time claim.

The United States has far more munitions than anyone in the world and far more than it needs.

Trump made the broad superlative while disputing stockpile-concern reporting. Public evidence is not sufficient to verify detailed U.S. and foreign munitions inventories, and contemporaneous reporting described concerns about specific U.S. air-defense stockpiles.

The expanded pledge protects 263 million Americans and covers 80% of power delivered.

Those figures came from the White House. The reviewed independent reporting did not provide enough underlying data to verify them.

The economy was the best in history in Trump’s first term.

“Best” has no single accepted measure. The claim omits the 2020 recession and requires selecting favorable indicators, so it cannot be supported as stated.

The released material proves votes were secretly altered in the 2020 election.

The administration described vulnerabilities and foreign access, but that does not by itself establish altered vote totals or a changed result.

DHS identified 278,000 noncitizens registered to vote.

The administration did not disclose enough methodology or records to validate the total.

Trump's Iran agreement averted a worldwide depression.

The counterfactual economic outcome cannot be established from the available evidence.

The administration cut the flow of illegal drugs entering by sea by 97%.

Seizure data do not measure drugs that enter undetected, so available federal data cannot establish the claimed reduction in total flow.

Without the 2025 strikes Iran would already have a nuclear weapon and half the world would be eradicated.

The sweeping counterfactual could not be substantiated from public evidence.

More than half of the 11,888 murderers had committed multiple murders.

CNN found the administration had not provided evidence for the asserted proportion.

More than half of the 11,888 people cited had committed multiple murders.

The administration did not provide evidence establishing the asserted proportion.
