What the evidence supports

Supported

Trump won Texas in the 2016, 2020 and 2024 presidential elections.

At both rallies Trump said he won Texas all three times. Texas's official historical returns show him ahead in 2016 and 2020, and the Federal Election Commission's compilation of certified state returns confirms the 2024 win. This bounded state-level finding does not validate his separate claim to have won the 2020 national election or every historical Texas vote record.

Supported

Texas in-person early voting for the November 3 election ends Friday, October 30, 2026.

Trump gave the October 30 deadline at both rallies. The Texas Secretary of State lists October 19 as the first day and October 30 as the last day of in-person early voting. The election itself is November 3.

False

Audi announced a $40 billion Georgia vehicle plant.

Trump described Audi's planned plant as a $40 billion investment at Corpus Christi and Lubbock. Audi's October 25 announcement and Georgia's public notice put the proposed investment at about $4 billion, with capacity of up to 200,000 vehicles annually. A real announced factory plan does not support the tenfold dollar figure; construction and final investment remain prospective.

Speaker
Donald J. Trump
False

$22.2 trillion had been invested in the United States under Trump's second term.

Trump presented $22.2 trillion as current or already secured investment at the rallies. FactCheck.org reports the White House's own October list at about $11.2 trillion in announced commitments, many speculative and spread over years. Announcements are not completed investment, and no accounting substantiates the $22.2 trillion figure.

False

The 2025 tax law eliminated federal income tax on Social Security benefits.

Trump again described the law as 'no tax on Social Security' at Corpus Christi. IRS guidance still taxes some benefits above applicable income thresholds. The law instead added a temporary, income-limited deduction of up to $6,000 for eligible people aged 65 or older. Some tax bills may fall, but the categorical exemption he claimed does not exist.

Speaker
Donald J. Trump
False

Trump won the 2020 national presidential election but was denied credit for that victory.

At Lubbock Trump said he had won three presidential elections and was given credit for only two. The National Archives records Joe Biden's certified 306–232 Electoral College victory in 2020. Trump's three Texas wins are separately supported, but they do not change the national result.

Speaker
Donald J. Trump
Misleading

The October consumer-confidence report showed a record 7.5% increase.

Trump cited a 7.5 percent 'record increase' before departing and at Corpus Christi. The Conference Board reported a genuine increase of 7.5 index points, from a revised 84.2 to 91.7; that is about 8.9% relative to September, not 7.5%. The October level was the highest since June, not a record high. His phrasing turns a real monthly improvement into an incorrect percentage and historical superlative.

Speaker
Donald J. Trump
Unresolved

The person who interrupted the Lubbock rally was a paid protester.

After an interruption Trump said he thought it sounded like a paid protester. The transcript records the disruption, but no reviewed payment, organizer or witness record establishes that the person was paid. The tentative wording and the visible interruption are preserved; neither proves a payment.

These full-text records were checked for testable factual claims. A verdict appears above only when corroborating evidence supports one.

Bottom line

Eight specific Trump claims are assessed: two Supported, four False, one Misleading and one Unresolved. Texas election and early-voting records support the two bounded state claims. Audi's own announcement, the White House's lower investment-commitment list, IRS guidance and the certified 2020 national result contradict four others. Consumer confidence genuinely rose, but by 7.5 index points rather than 7.5%, and the reading was not a historical record. No reviewed evidence establishes that the Lubbock interrupter was paid. Three accessible complete Trump-participation transcripts are indexed; the edition does not rate every rally remark. The tanker was present, but exact cargo volume and no-cost terms remain unverified in the reviewed record.
